This handsome boy is called Jimmi, and every evening he snuggles up to John (his dad!) on the sofa. He just loves having his tummy rubbed, and if you look carefully at this picture you'll see he's so happy and relaxed that his tongue is hanging out!

Jimmi's a big, gentle coward (with humans anyway) and he gets so excited each evening when his dad comes home from work because he knows its then nearly tummy-rub time!!

This lovely cat is called Barney, and he was adopted from this branch of CP in 2002.

Barney settled in to his new home right away, and this photo shows him in his garden on the Isle of Dogs!

Reefer
Reefer
is just one of the many cats to have been rescued and rehomed by the Greenwich North branch. He stayed with his fosterer for quite a few weeks, and she became very fond of him, and still thinks he was one of the nicest cats she has ever met!

OllyMegan sent us this lovely story about her cat Olly:

My cat is about 13 years old now. He is a black and white male cat called Olly. We adopted him from a lady who rescues cats and keeps them in her house until a permanent home can be found for them.
Olly was only a few days old when he was found dumped in a plastic bag with 3 other kittens, dumped in Keston Ponds to drown. The kittens were found by a gentleman when he was walking his dog along the banks of the pond. The gentleman's dog found the kittens and began barking to warn his owner that they were there. The man picked up the kittens and had heard of this lady's rescue centre, and so he took them to her.
We got Olly when he was about 2 months old. He has now started a family of his own and lives happily with one of his daughters, Molly. He is a very happy cat and loves to be made a fuss of, and spend most of his day sleeping!
