Homer
This is Homer whose owners still miss him very much, as he passed away in February 2003 from a congenital blood condition.

But they like to remember him sitting in one of his favourite spots... by his food bowl!!!

Kali
A "right cheeky thing" is how Kali's owner describes her - which we think is probably very true!

Harley Harley was adopted from CP in Greenwich about six years ago. Having spent far too long on the streets, he refused to go outside unaccompanied and got in a panic if the door was shut when he was out! He was a really huge, tough looking ex- tomcat (as you can see from the photo) but was the gentlest cat, with a ridiculously small meow.

He adored people and made a beeline for your lap whenever he saw you. He was pretty fond of his dinner too! His favourite hobby was watching really gory African wildlife programs on TV, although he never hunted even a fly. He did a fine impression of Bagpuss when he draped himself over the arm of a chair!

Sadly Harley died of FIV because he had not been innoculated as a kitten, but his family still remember him fondly as a wonderful character and a very special member of their famiy.

This is a picture of Jack (the Lad!) who was adopted from Greenwich CP in November 2003 after living as a stray for 18 months.

He has lived up to his name, and is a bundle of energy, but also a big wuss, as he raises his arms and cries so that his new mum will pick him up and carry him around like a baby.

Lovely Jack is a reminder that even cats who have not had a home for a while will still settle in and make wonderful companions!
