CP rehomes and reunites
over 55,000 cats and kittens each year in the UK
Around 70% of our work is carried out
by our 7000 volunteers
CP answers over 100,000 calls from the
public each year
Cats Protection was founded in 1927, and Cats Protection’s vision
is to ensure that every cat is given the chance of life where
it will be treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
We also seek to alleviate the problem of unwanted cats, by offering
information and advice about responsible cat ownership and promoting
the benefits of neutering.
Our objectives are:
To find good homes for cats in need
To support
and encourage the neutering of cats
To improve
people’s understanding of cats and their care
